Working with objects
Everything placed on the page — text blocks, images, coats of arms, stamps, shapes, tables, and QR codes — are objects. You can move, resize, and arrange them all in the same way.
Selection
- Single object — click on it.
- Multiple objects — click while holding
Shift,Ctrl, or⌘. Or drag a selection box around them: click and hold the mouse button on an empty area of the page and drag. - Select all —
Ctrl+Aor "Edit" → "Select all".
Moving, resizing, and rotating
- Move — drag the object with your mouse. For precise positioning, use the arrow keys: a 1-pixel step, or 10 pixels with
Shift. - Resize — drag a square handle on the frame.
- Rotate — drag the circular handle above the object. Near 45° angles, the object "snaps" into place, making it easy to straighten it out.
When you move an object, guide lines appear: this makes it easier to align it perfectly to the center or the edge of another object.
Alignment and layers
The "Align objects" button on the toolbar aligns the selected objects by their edges or centers. The "Center on canvas" option places the object exactly in the middle of the page.
If one object covers another, open the layers button or the context menu and select "Bring to front" or "Send to back".
Copying, locking, and deleting
Right-click an object to open the menu:
- Copy — then paste the copy using
Ctrl+V, including onto another page; - Lock — the object will no longer move accidentally. To move it again, select "Unlock";
- Delete — or press the
Deletekey.
Undo accidental actions with Ctrl+Z.
Troubleshooting
- Object won't move — it is most likely locked. Open the context menu and select "Unlock".
- Cannot select an object underneath another — send the top object to the back or temporarily move it aside.
- Cannot change anything — the document is open in view-only mode.
